Michael Pucci is your Member for Logan.

I was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on 1 June 1963. I am the youngest of eight children and was raised by my mother. When I was seventeen I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, which started a 20-year career that took me to postings throughout the world including Australia, USA and the Middle East.

It was during one those posting to Australia where I coordinated the logistics for recreation for Marine Forces on leave. I was then where I met my wife Anna. In 2001 after 20 years of active service, I retired from the Marines and immigrated to Australia.

Since then, my wife Anna and I as a family with our two wonderful daughters have made the Logan area our home.

I studied at the Coastal Carolina Community College in North Carolina and St Leo's College of Florida and gained qualifications in Leadership, Management, Training, Communications and Administration Management in addition to various courses whilst on active duty in the Marines.

Prior to my election , I worked as an Executive Manager, in the facilities maintenance industry and in roles as varied as a Loss Prevention/Assets Protection officer, a Bartender, a Janitor, a Dealership Lot attendant and paperboy.

I have the honour to be an active member of the Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch and as a veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, to be support fellow veterans that served this country of ours with such distinction.
