ABOUT ME I am a Christian conservative and conservationist with a passion for natural history. My home is in the Tennessee Valley. And the majority of my photos reflect this region of Kentucky and Tennessee. I have shot Canon and Nikon over the years but prefer the former.

RESEARCH My primary area of research over the years has been Herpetology (The disciplined study of amphibians and reptiles.) with emphasis of range/distribution & natural history of southeastern species. I have been a part of research projects with the US Forestry Service, Kentucky Fish & Game, Austin Peay State University and UNC Charlotte among others. Published works have been included in Herpetological Review and the Journal of Herpetology, as well as educational pamphlets, wildlife checklist, etc.

I am very honored to be a contributing photographer to, The Center of North American Herpetology (CNAH.ORG) and to have my photographs shared with such notable herpetologists as Suzanne L. Collins of Kansas University; and Travis W. Taggart of Fort Hays State University. This I believe is one of the greatest natural history data banks in all of the world.

I am also honored to have photos published in, The Reptiles of Tennessee - Neimiller, Reynolds and Miller; published in 2013. I believe this field guide to be one of the best natural history resources available; And the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) Tennessee's Watchable Wildlife publication.

At the present time I am working on both physical publications and on-line websites pertaining to Kentucky and regional herpetology/natural history. One of those, The Amphibians and Reptiles of Land Between the Lakes, was published in the winter of 2016. I was very honored to co-author this publication with several remarkable professors, including the late A.F. Scott of Austin Peay University.

In 2016, I severed ties with the small liberal arts college in my former community of Murray KY. I could no longer continue relationships with Godless men 'beta males' who judge others based upon their religious convictions and political ideologies. My relationship and daily walk with Christ are paramount in shaping my life. My door is always open to those who'd like to explore the great Tennessee Valley, and photo op her beautiful wildlife. Feel free to contact me via my email listed below.
