I'm crazy for clay, cats, yarn, fabric and more. I grew up in the redwoods on the far, far north coast of California and still live within 100 miles of my childhood home. It's an area of extraordinary natural beauty and a constant source of inspiration --- yep, I'm a lucky girl :D!

My stitchy/crafty Gramsy began teaching me to sew, knit and crochet before I started kindergarten and she swears I could sew a tidy seam by the age of three. She's probably exaggerating, but I truly cannot recall being unable to sew, knit and crochet :D Gramsy is currently a spiffy, spry 98 years-old and still sews daily (after she's taken her 6 mile walk!) --- hope I'm doing the same at 98!

These days I'm usually found in my in-home ceramics studio covered in mud and wearing a huge happy smile :D
