I'm an artist and photographer who studied photography at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art. I have recently exhibited my work at the Harbourfront Arts Centre, Toronto and the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art, Sunderland. In 2005 I received a Research Development Fellowship to undertake 'The Last Picture Show' a project looking at the changing nature of family photography in the digital age. During my fellowship at the Photography and the Archive Research Centre (PARC) at LCC, I developed my series 'Résidence Astral' an archive of images taken over a twelve year period in my grandmother's apartment in Brussels. My first monograph 'Villa Mona a proper kind of house' was published by Trace Editions in 2006.

I'm currently a Lecturer in Photography at the University of Sunderland.
