As a kid my sister and I played with Barbie dolls all the time together. She was our friend that was always there. I quickly grew fond of Barbie and she became my favorite toy as well as my younger sister. We then started growing up and still loved our dolls but our parents thought it was a childish hobby for teens. So we then grew up and had forgotten about Barbie but still kept our dollies hidden in our closets collecting dust.

Years later I grew up even more and got married, moved out. Then found and opened up my old doll bins. A spark came back into my heart of the old days with Barbie. I had always wanted to get the whole collection of the 2004 Cali Girl scented Barbie dolls. So, then I had purchased the ones I needed and then decided I wanted more dollies. To get all the ones I missed out on all those years ago.

We are older now and it is still very much enjoyable to collect them, take pictures, and sometimes still play with them. :-) I was collecting a lot of the play line Barbie dolls like the Barbie Fashionistas but since I'm older I wanted to also start collecting more adult dolls such as Barbie Basics and Barbie The Look. I have been wanting to start collecting Poppy Parker and Fashion Royalty dolls but only know very little about them. Barbie will always be my number one doll:-)

I also very much enjoy crafts!! Well more like adore them. I just love designing and creating new things. It's amazing what you can accomplish if you really want to. Even if you don't have any ideas, the internet is always chalked full of wonderful ones. I design and sew clothes for my dolls as well as build furniture for them. :-)

Barbie isn't just a toy, she allows you to live out your fantasy's though her and to enjoy them. Don't forget about Barbie because she never forgot about you. :-)
