Crochet kept me sane through the last year of my dissertation. Now that I have a full time postdoc, there's less time to spend in the online craft world but I still crochet and try to keep up to date with photos and blog entries. Plus I seem to have gotten the hang of knitting too. But I still hate sewing, which is why a lot of my projects end up 95% done and wind up in the UFO (unfinished object) pile for want of buttons or seaming. ;)

Blogging about crochet and knitting forced me to try to be a better photographer. I do the best I can with indoor photos, but I look forward to the day I move into a really bright, sunny house.
