I first got into photography when I was 16. My Grandmother bought me a little film camera and I started taking pictures of everything. If only I could find some of those pictures now :( I have recently gotten more into it and purchased a DSLR. Recently being three years ago. My job gives me a great oppurtunity to travel and see many different places, if only it gave me more time to get out and take hold of those oppurtunities. I love being behind the lens and taking pictures, that I believe, will be enjoyed by many generations in my family. It will give my children a chance to look back on those times that are hard to remember when you are so young. I try my best to capture everything that I feel is important. Capturing that one great image makes it all worthwhile. I hope that anyone viewing my page enjoys my pictures. Feel free to leave any critique. Negative or positive. The only way to get better is to keep learning and to keep practicing. Don't be hesitant to try new things. You never know just how it may turn out.

I am from Georgia, stationed at Fort Hood, but deployed to Afghanistan. I shoot with a simple Nikon D40.

A good photograph doesn't have to be technically sound, it just has to touch a persons emotions or help bring back a fond memory.
