My name is Amy Halfpenny, I was born in South Wales in Swansea, and I am currently studying Photography at Coleg Sir Gar, Carmarthen. I have three A Levels (Photography, Psycholohy and Law) which I studied at at Gower College Swansea. I have had a creative eye ever since I was little, and as a small child I always liked creating pictures, either with paint or colouring pens. However when I was old enough to use a camera I found a new way to create pictures. I took Art and Design (double award) at secondry school and specialised in Photography in my exam. This is when I knew for certain I loved to take photos. So I then decided to do Photography in college. I love this subject so much because you get to see the world in a whole new light. I think of the world as an empire of images waiting to be uncovered, and the more of the world you see the more fantastic images get stored in your visopsatial sketchpad. I love looking for the unknown and would describe myself as an adventurous individual.
