i luv art in many forms, whether its assemblage, painting, paper crafts and distressing my jeans...... i like to wirewrap with sterling silver and semi precious stones, freshwater pearls, glass, and swarovski. i really enjoy creating or re-creating things that i find at thrift stores. i like to paint and decoupage and add things like beads, wire, nails, tacs, glitter, ephemera, and other objects to alter its appearance until it looks finished.....to me. im mexican and i am divorced but am great friends with my ex husband....i took a break from crafting for a few years because of the emotional toll divorce and other losses created.....today is the first day i am actualy sitting and working on a project.....(6/9/14)......i find it interesting since today is the day my father in law died 3 yrs ago and kyle (my ex) came to visit me today.....we hav visited many times before but, i duno....today seemed like a gud day to start again.....my father in law always encouraged my creativity and so do my parents..... i luv him and my parents who r stil with me, thank u GOD.......i lived with my best friend for 4 yrsafter my divorce because i ddnt wana b alone...she has 2 young men as sons......wen she got engaged i made the decision to move out, but her and her fiance askd me to stay longer...so i did......then they got married, i thot i wasnt redy...i was soooo scared of bein alone.....i hav 2 kittys (meechy&frida), so i had to take the leap, my babies n i now hav our own tiny place and were happy......my best friend is now pregnant and is having wat shes always wanted....a girl and a husband....i was her girl for awile ....anyway, alls well now, i moved in in feb. its now june and we r very much setled in.....i wana say thank u to my family, friends (including u jodie) for being suportive and motivating......i luv u all...
