I have been taking photographs for many years...but with the emergence of digital cameras I tend to be more proactive now.

In the past I took the odd photo mainly due to the cost of printing...so the images in this portfolio capture forty five years of enjoying my hobby.

The portfolio also includes the work of my two sons Matthew and Joseph and 'A Driver' ....these photographs are mostly in the last twenty years....we all enjoy 'capturing the moment' and most photographs are from enjoyable trips out together. I have also spent the time to capture screen shots from the hours of videoing we used to do.....so not of great quality but they do capture many engines now consigned to history.

Having worked hard from November 2012 to upload historic photographs, our portfolio went fully 'live' in November 2013 and we have now achieved 11,000,000 views in just under nine years....so as at September 2022. Thanks to everyone who has viewed, chosen a photograph as a favourite or commented.

'Rex' is our feature photo as he often travelled with us on our trips away to view engines and we would never get away with popping down to our local station at Westbury without taking him.

Rex was well known and loved by the many enthusiasts who frequented Westbury but sadly he passed away in January 2021 after a short and thankfully relatively painless illness. Most of the photos in the Westbury area were taken with Rex sat by our sides.

The photo was taken a day before Rex was put to rest and he still had his familiar 'smile' on his face!!

Hope you enjoy our efforts!!
