The series "Cathedrals and Churches of Great Britain" is a project i began a few years ago to preserve the memories of the Older Curches and the Medieval Cathedrals of Great Britain.

The Great Arhcitecture and beauty of the Cathedrals and the Churches captured my attention. These places were built by men to glorify God. When i vist the small buildings throughout the Country where the small Churches have been meeting for Centuries, i am moved as i stand in the Nave of each and wonder about the thousands of people that have worshipped here.

Traveling through Britain and visiting the small Church buildings, i am thankful that they are preserved and available. But, as i experienced a few times, some are now locked and some closed! how long before none are open?

So, why is an American so interested in Great Britains Churches and Cathedrals?

Americas "Founding Fathers" are From England. Many of the people on board the Mayflower were leaving for opportunity and to worship freely. Not only did they establish America, but they established Worship in America. They are the fathers of the American Church. That's worth documenting.

I have almost 60 Churches and 26 Cathedrals in my archives.

I am currently editing photos from the series and posting them as i finish. And, of course, hoping to return to continue the project.
