I am retired and live on the south coast of Western Australia. Some of the things I like best are landscape, antiquities and historic buildings, travel, animals (especially cats), boats and everything to do with the sea.

I used this site, in the beginning, to share my photos of my local canoe club's activities. They now have a Facebook page and I use the site to share my travel memories and my enjoyment of the turning of the year, the patterns of the weather, and the cycle of bird and plant life in my area.

My photography is of the point-and-click variety, which explains the decades-long gap between the Box Brownie of my childhood and my taking it up again with the coming of the digital camera. You won't find great photos here, but I hope people will enjoy them as I enjoyed taking them.
