Railway enthusiast / photographer enjoys taking images of the UK freight scene especially in and around Merseyside. Other interests are covered too and these are posted elsewhere. Comments etc are welcome on my images as it will encourage me to post more. If you are interested in one of my photos for commercial use or any other use please contact me via my flickr email.

All my images on my Flickr account is © copyright protected. ALL my images may NOT be copied, edited, published, transmitted or uploaded in anyway without my written permission.

In the meantime, I have had three books published with the first one entitled 'Merseyside Traction' covering the 20 years of various traction within the area between 1998 and 2017. For further details / information, see: www.amberley-books.com/coming-soon/merseyside-traction.html The other two books are 'The Llangollen Railway in the late Twentieth Century' published in 2019 and 'The East Lancashire Railway in the 1990's' published in 2021 which both feature numerous steam locomotives (& diesels) that have visited & worked on both lines. Again available from Amberley Books or online from various outlets.

PLEASE DO 'NOT' ADD ME AS A FAVOURITE IF YOU HAVE NO RAIL IMAGES ON YOUR FLICKR SITE OR FAVOURITE RAILWAY IMAGES - this suggest's to me you have no interest in railways. IF YOU ADD ME AS A FAVOURITE THEN I WILL DELETE and BLOCK YOU. PLEASE DO NOT ADD MY IMAGES TO ANY FLICKR GROUP WITHOUT MY EXPRESS PERMISSION. THANK YOU.

Finally, a pet hate. If you take images with the use of a pole and display them on Flickr, please have the common courtesy to actually state that please within the caption. To do otherwise, is being deceitful and hardly being fair to any photographer who wants to take a similar image, arrives at the location to find it is not possible without a pole. That is not nice and wasting other people's time. You would not like it so why do it!
