Hi! I am just an amateur photographer but totally love photography. I purchased a Minolta SRT102 35mm camera back in 1975 and used it continuously up until I purchased my Olympus D-550 Zoom point and shoot. As a gift for Christmas 2007 I received my Nikon D-40 with the Nikkor 18-135mm zoom lens and have been taking thousands of pictures since. I just love the fact that I do not have to change lenses all the time.

One day I would like to take some classes but for now I will continue to take pictures just for the fun of it. I definitely see the world through different eyes now. I am constantly looking for things to photograph. It doesn't matter what kind of photos I take as long as I feel in my own heart it will make a good photo, then I take it.

I look forward to any comments or criticism anyone out there has to offer. I have seen so many super photos in flickr and I'm sure others have suggestions for me.
