I first picked up a digital camera in Feb 2008 (Nikon D40 then a D3100 and now a D3300).

I still hesitate at calling myself an amateur or even a beginner - I would say I just own a nice camera & play around with photoshop occasionally (which I really should learn at some point !).

I love looking at other people's photos. Sometimes they're so fantastic I feel like I should just put my camera away as I could never reach such brilliance but most of the time it inspires me to try harder.

I rarely make comments on other people's photos as I feel I don't have the words to fully express myself so instead I prefer to mark them as favourites so I can return to them whenever I want. Other times I will follow someone if I feel I'd wear out my favourites button on their work.

If you like any of my photos please feel free to add any constructive comments, advice or just a nice word or two, it's very much appreciated as I really want to learn & improve. Even a view I take as a compliment & makes me feel like I'm making progress but please don't issue me with any "awards" :-)

I don't think I'll ever learn what constitutes a good picture, I think I'll just continue to put on what pleases me - for whatever reason.
