Drag to set position!
I admire one's natural tendency to comprehend through the delicate manipulation of matter in fingers scale. On a compass one degree is a very small distance (see: Jasper Morello) but under certain circumstances, one degree can be a very large distance. On a computer screen, a pixel adopts this mercurial nature. In a world where materialised parametrical models and arbitrary algorithms are beggining to merge with anthropometric data which is empeirically known, the need for a handfull of distance begins to grow.
I tend to believe that one starts to find comfort in the super small distances, the milimiter, the thickness of the fingernail, as opposed to the super large one is constantly asked to perceive, use, or (even worse), design.
