We are a small village school with approaching 80 pupils in total from ages 4 -9 years

We have three classes in school named after woodland animals and our children are very proud of belonging to their class, and its name! The reception children are in a class called the Hedgehogs, the children in year 1 and 2 are in the Badgers, and the older children in the school, years 3 and 4 are in the Deer class.

We are a church school, and are very proud of our links with the local church and our Christian ethos which is “Let your light shine”, taken from the book of Matthew.

“Let your light shine “ is at the root of our school, and what I feel we do particularly well is provide opportunities for all pupils to do this

. We focus not only on academic skills, but on the rounded child, with an emphasis on caring, good manners and other essential life skills which enable our young people to leave us, with many of these skills in place.

The children learn through an exciting and enriched curriculum with many visits and visitors coming into school

We are a very happy school and our children thrive on security and knowing that through working hard and trying their best, they will achieve.
