The Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station is the research arm of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture. We partner with the Division of Agriculture's outreach arm, the Cooperative Extension Service, to share our research findings with all Arkansans.

Through the experiment station and extension service, the Division of Agriculture carries out the research and extension aspects of the Land Grant Mission. The Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville campus carries out the teaching mission. The Division of Agriculture is one of the 21 institutions within the University of Arkansas System.

Our mission is to conduct research and achieve scientific discoveries that benefit Arkansas citizens, expand agricultural sustainability and profitability, promote environmental stewardship, strengthen local and state economies and ensure safe and nutritious food supply.
