I primarily shoot with vintage lenses adapted to a FujiFilm X-T2.
All the photos I take and post are unadulterated barring lens filters and extreme white balance shifts to achieve a certain effect (e.g., digital versions of redscale and cross process). I lack any interest in staged photography; whether in the form of portraiture or simply placing something into a scene that wasn't there to begin with. I find inspiration in the organic and natural existence of what is happening as I come upon it—landscape or urban; still life or street. It's worth mentioning that I use the in-camera grain setting from time to time. Mostly for following user-created recipes, but I also like it for obfuscating minute details to dissuade pixel-peeping. It deters my obsessive nature, and it pairs well with the Acros simulation. As far as color goes, I've been trying to be mindful of shooting without grain to fully embrace the character of old lenses. Regardless, I'd rather spend time on composition instead of salivating over sharpness.
Thanks for reading, and best of luck in your own creative endeavors!
