I am a retired and recovering academic living in the foothills of the Rockies in Northern Colorado. Because of some health issues, including somewhat limited mobility, I cannot get out and around much any longer. Almost all of the photos I post on Flickr have been taken on or from my property or within a few kilometers. There are some that I took on trips to Japan before the pandemic. I have found that careful exploration of my home area can result in some satisfying photographs. The area is rich in subjects. especially wildlife.
