I hate when people write about themselves in the third person, so here goes. I am a full time healthcare worker/part time photographer based in the PNW. I have been shooting for 20+ years with subjects mainly focused on landscapes, but also travel, street and some portrait photography. At one point I even shot a wedding -- that was way too much work for me! I have to applaud all the wedding photogs out there, its a tough job no joke! I started with Pentax and Canon film cameras and then graduated to Canon DSLRs in 2006. I changed to Nikon in 2012 and also shot Olympus micro 4/3rds along side my full frame gear for a short time. I eventually decided to take the middle path and shot Fujifilm X mount cameras for 5 years until I got sucked back into Nikon DSLRs. On these pages you will find images from all the camera systems I have shot, they have all been capable of capturing the moments I have looked for. I am a member of the Nature First Alliance ( www.naturefirstphotography.org/en/home ) and believe in the ethical capture of natures beauty without leaving any negative impact.
