Having lost my negatives, most of my pics have been scanned from prints of varying quality.

I try to be accurate in my descriptions, but if you have any queries or suggestions, please tell me.

Born in the same year that Mr. Bulleid built his first Pacific, so they have always been my favorite engine.

Most of my railway photos taken in the 1960's were with a Agfa Isolette III rangefinder folding camera, later I used a 35mm Werra, made by Zeiss.

After Beeching and the end of steam, I took to the canals, living on a boat I had built, and later on working boats.

Then came children, a house and pension.

Sorry, no metric conversions in my descriptions.

I am English. All photos are my own, except where mentioned, or if I am in the photo. Obviously.
