I think I received my first camera when I was about 11. I learned to appreciate photography in Amsterdam's Canon Image Gallery, which was unfortunately turned into another shoe shop long ago.

I grew up viewing Ed van der Elsken and Daniel Koning's newspaper photos. I like documentary photography as much as "street photography", whatever that is.
