I grew up in the age of film. My first real camera was an Olympus OM1, that I bought in the late 70's. I still have and use it occasionally today.
I manage to keep one foot in the film world, where these days I mainly shoot with a 35mm Voigtlander Bessa R with either a 50 or 35mm lens.
When I shoot digital I now use a Fuji X-E1 or my phone because they just work and play well with other digital stuff.
Like a growing number of people, around a year ago (2013) I returned to shooting film as my first love. I develop and print my own black and white prints because I love the whole film end to end process. Colour film work I leave to labs.
I publish the blog, tomtappingphotoblog.blogspot.co.uk/
I am not a world traveller, so my subjects tend to be found locally, Gloucestershire UK. You wont find pics of tropical islands or alpine landscapes amongst my work.
