Thanks very much for your visits to my pictures! Since joining Flickr, I have only had time to upload a fraction of my collections; eventually, I hope to build up many additional geographically and thematically arranged collections and albums, as well as expanding ones that I have begun.

I hope that you will enjoy some of the views from travels and home. Although I am very much an amateur photographer, I have been fortunate enough to have had opportunities to visit -- and sometimes revisit -- a number of beautiful and historically interesting places, not to mention living in one.

It is also a delight for me to look at others' pictures from around the world, both seeing places where I have been through your eyes and travelling vicariously to places that I have not yet visited!
