Hello,
I'm 39 by now and have a keen interest in photography.
I used to use analog film, then I moved to digital cameras years ago and the past few months I went back to analog photography. I still use my digital camera though. In my view both can exist next to each other and have their own strong and weak points.
I started with a Zeiss Ikonta 6X6 as an experiment and fell in love right away. You know, after all those years of working with a digital workflow it is confronting to realise you don't look that well anymore. You don't take the time to compose and visualise your picture before you take it.
It was a wonderfull experience to work "slow" again.
Now I've got a Linhof Super Technika IV. The camera still needs some work and I con't wait to take it out into the field!
It has a new bellows and got a CLA. It is a fantastic camera!
I had to sell it, but the camera tought me lots about large format and camera technique.
Recently I sold my Nikon gear and stepped into the world of large format. I'm hooked. For now I'm still experimenting with my camera and lenses.
