My Mom is a PFLAG-mom in the making, and I love her fiercely. I'm proud of where I'm from, though I wouldn't live there now. I look back over the last year and find I have gained tremendous friends and neighbors, and each day I grow more thankful for them.

I like traveling because there is so much to fill the imagination and startle you into something new. I can sit with friends, et al., for hours laughing and talking, and I'll analyze each thing they say to understand them better.

I think theatre, liturgy, dinner conversation, kids, dogs, the beach, dancing, and true contemplation are all mystical possibilities that make life worth living (and dying).
