Me? I’m a self taught but helped a lot knitter who lives in the wonderful City By The Bay. I have more yarn, needles, buttons and notions than any one person should have but then, I AM a knitter! My favorite musician is Joshua Bell and it was a great privilege to meet him. Every time I hear or see him play is such an amazing treat. Johnny Depp is a favorite actor and he resides everywhere in my knitting room. His life size cardboard likeness models scarves and hats all the time. His face is on every wall and almost every surface. Where he is not, there’s sure to be a sheep. I collect sheep. Cute ones. Anyone who knows me knows I love sheep. Then there’s my other side…I’m a competitive trail ultramarathon runner with a local racing team. and a black belt in tae kwon do. So between running a couple hours almost every day on the local mountains, practicing tae kwon do, being Mom to Zev (sophomore at UC Santa Cruz) & Matthew (a second grader,yes, you read that correctly), cooking, cleaning, gardening (another favorite hobby), being an active member of my church (City Church of San Francisco), I am certainly found knitting. My poor husband, he had no idea what he was getting into, poor soul!
