I study psychology & anthropology at NC State University. Before that, I lived for nearly 4 years in North Wales, UK, studying Welsh language and literature. Emotions and their cognitive, social and perceptual processes are my chief interests. I work as a research assistant and my work is on the complexity of emotion understanding in mothers. Upon completing a BA at NC State, I plan to pursue a PhD in some aspect of psychology (most likely Social) relating to emotions and affective research.

I love traveling - to experience new ecosystems and socio-cultural systems. I've visited every State in the Union (excluding Oregon, Alaska, & Hawaii). Familiar with much of the UK and Ireland, I have also traveled to Canada, Mexico, Venice and Northern Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, and New Zealand.

I take pictures mostly of landscapes, but also anything that has a flavor of "place" and history.
