Born in the late 1940s and hit with the bug at 60 to upload all photos and slides of interest from my collection. I lived in Bankstown (12 miles west of Sydney, Australia) until 2001.

For anyone interested, my still camera history is as follows. Brownie box camera until the early 1960s, Brownie Instamatic 1960s, Canon 110 SLR 1970s accompanied by a Practika SLR and in the 1980s when I did wedding photography part- time, a Canon AE1 which I still have but never use. Digital photography since around 2005 via Ricoh G4-wide, 3.2MP units. We have two, and their lens quality is brilliant. Now also using a Panasonic TZ1 for landscapes and Ricoh R30 for general purpose. Since 2022, I've done most of my photography via my Oppo OS phone.
