I'm in a long term relationship and we have 3 children (plus one more from my partner's first relationship).

I have always been interested in photography, ever since school days (heavily influenced by my father who is a very good amateur photographer), though I have to say I am not very good, but do take a nice snap occasionally!..

I used to take photos all the time (always with a camera in my bag), until I had children and then it all stopped.

I am trying to get myself back into the flow again and have got myself a Canon EOS 500D. What a wonderful thing that is! It practically does everything for you!! (Just what I need).

I'm interested in local history stuff (love looking at old photos of familiar places). So may add some old stuff with no artistic merit of any kind, just for archive sake.
