Retired and busy. Among a number of other things, I love being outdoors, I love learning about digital photography and I love learning from other Flickr members through the great privilege of observing their work each day. I owe them a great thanks.

4/17/2020Please note: In my previous life on Flickr, I enjoyed making Galleries dedicated to the photographers whose images I most loved and was inspired by on Flickr. The Galleries are named for each photographer whose images I saved. Please let me know if you believe this is not acceptable practice. It was my intent to make it easy for me to review them on occasion, and to showcase them on my site for others to see. If you are one of these photographers and find this to be questionable practice, please let me know and I will take the Gallery down immediately. And even if you are just another Flickr photographer and have some thoughts or questions about the practice, please let me know. I will welcome the feedback. As an amateur still, after all these years, I have lots to learn.

4/17/2020. Returning to Flickr after a long hiatus due to family and computer issues. Missed photography terribly. Recently managed to find my way back to my old Flickr site. Still have the computer/photography issues which I am trying to figure out, but with some luck, the hope is that I might actually begin playing with photography once again in the near future. I am still a rank amateur, of course, in love with the viewfinder. With just a few recent peeks at the works of others here, it remains clear to me that the opportunity to see creative work fires up that drive to get back to shooting and processing. I hope that, even in this awful time of Covid 19, I might begin to enjoy the immense creativity out there and perhaps contribute a few additional captures of my own. Stay safe and well, my old and future Flickr friends. I hope to be starring your wonderful photos soon.
