Karacan Salkuci was born in Germany and is a multilingual person who has lived in the United States since 1961. She is a retired counselor, psychology/spiritual teacher, retired faculty member of several universities, research scientist, dance therapist, and unique movement meditation instructor and is trained in animal psychology.

Karacan Salkuci is an intuitive, self-taught,self-trained photographer/artist.Karacan is a prolific, multicultural, transformational artist/photographer working with diverse subjects. Subject matters include nature, raptors/birds, botanicals/ flowers, wild life animals, people/portraiture, abstract art, spiritual/cultural themes. Presently, Karacan has 18 portfolios and has at least 500 published/publishable artworks/images. Karacan Salkuci enjoys and is gifted at transforming ordinary subjects into extraordinary works of art. Artwork/images of Karacan Salkuci have been recognized for having a distinct signature style.
