I’m a mostly out of practice writer and painter, rapidly approaching the big two nine and still unsure about what I want to be when I grow up (wow….that kind of makes me a bum, doesn’t it?)

I love dogs, honest people, Tibetan art, vintage gadgets, Frida, Lorca, Dali, collecting kokeshi, making beer, mediterranean and asian cooking and the quest for “wok hay”. I bow to the Dalai Lama and Tom Waits only, and in no particular order

And no, I haven’t turned into a raging alcoholic–whiskeyhead was born when I decided my natural hair color resembles Jack Daniel’s, but “bourbonhead” sounded bleh. There’s also a blues song from 1939 by Tommy McClennan called “Whiskey Head Woman”. How boss is that?

I'm happy to add crafty people and thrifsters of similar minds as contacts; but if you have no photos available to me, I'll have to block you. And though I do love shoes, they account for such a small percentage of my photostream that everything else would likely seem boring.
