This is a testimonial I should have written some time ago ...... Gerald (L Plater) is one of the most diverse photographers I have followed and appreciated during my time on Flickr. My admiration for him abounds when I view the cross section of images he has in his stream. Always professional, well balanced, and presented with vigor and dispatch, Gerald's stream captivates your attention. And Gerald always takes the time to visit and comment on my stream and I am sure yours too, and he does this even when one has been absent for a while. While many of us have plenty of contacts and we do try to visit them all from time to time there are certain ones that stand out, Gerald is in that category, in fact he is near the top and I am so pleased to consider him a good friend too. So take the time to visit L Plater (Gerald's) stream you will find it interesting, informative and most of all nothing there will disappoint you. A person with some wonderful talent. I have been able to learn a fair bit from L Plater even though I dont know him personally... Looking at all of his beach photography has inspired me to take me photography (Yes to the beach)... After having a look through L platers photographs I decided I would go and try and get a similar effect with waves etc (as I was unsure how this was done)... I have then gone ahead and given it a go and was very impressed with the results... Thank you for your wonderful inspiration on beach photography... Keep Clicking !!! :-)

Soaking in the elements of the photo so pleasingly layered and thinking to myself what L Plater was thinking when he composed and took the shot. was it a just a simple snap or a calculated capture? With an eye for near perfect composition the L Plater stream is one of the most underrated on flickr.
