Started taking photos as a teenager mostly black and white, developing my own photos which tailed off on going to Uni. For a long time only really took snaps until I got my first DSLR a few years ago which has rekindled my interest, just done an A level in it. Not really interested in spending time on Photoshop (or similar) just use it to tweak photos. As Susan Sontag wrote "A fake painting (one whose attribution is false) falsifies history. A fake photograph (one which has been retouched or tampered with, or whose caption is false) falsifies reality."

Main influence, in no particular order, Man Ray, Henri Cartier- Bresson, Andre Kertesz, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Eric Tabuchi, Peter Keetman and James Goodchild (Photography teacher).
