I am drawn to several themes and subjects. One is memory. I try, through camera movement, long exposure, and other techniques to capture the world the way I remember it. I am also drawn to silence and emptiness both in minimalism and in the illusion of movement in the unmoving. The third theme I come back to again and again is the world we don't see. This is behind a lot of my macro work. I try to show the familiar world as almost unrecognizable seen close up.
