The 86th Training Division is recognized as the US Army Reserve's premier organization that will assist Joint, Combined, and Active Army Forces in training and assessing unit readiness through live training events.

 

The 86th Training Division is commanded by Brigadier General Daniel L. York. The division command sergeant major is Command Sergeant Major Harold P. Estabrooks.
