I shoot with the Nikon D300, the Nikon D40, a classic, mint condition, prosumer-class Nikon FE2 film camera (with the MD-12 motor drive), and a Nikon N80 film camera. And, the gorgeous, highly collectable professional photojournalist F3HP (with the MD-4 motor drive)! My Nikkor lenses include: 17-55 f/2.8, 70-200 f/2.8 VR, 18-55mm, 55-200mm VR-I, 18-200mm VR-II, 50mm f/1.8D, 50-135 MF, 20-105mm Macro, a 50mm f/1.8 AI MF, a Nikon 28-50f/3.5 MF Macro, and a Sigma 70-300, and a 135mm f/2.8. I use Nikon SB-600, SB-400, SB-15, SB-16 and SB-22S Speedlights, and numerous filters (UV haze, circular polarizer, neutral density, and skylight) and numerous Nikon accessories, including the MB-D10 grip for the D300. I have wanted a Nikon all of my life, as Dad always shot with them. Now I have a complete Nikon collection!
In 2010, I added a Hasselblad 500cm into the mix, and love shooting medium format film when I can.
This is the funnest hobbies I have ever taken up! I really only started SLR photography in May, 2007. My "backup" is a HP R707 point and shoot. That is the camera I started out with. It taught me a lot.
In 2009, I sold my 1st commercial photographic image. Ask me where it is going to be featured. One hint-a world famous Boston sports landmark. Members of "The Nation" know where I am referring to. I have also been published on the cover of a city tourism magazine for the City of Fitchburg, and in The Johnny Appleseed Guide.
My favorite photographers include Vincent Versace and Joel Sartore.
Recently started shooting with my father's Polaroid Land Camera Model 230. My favorite camera so far!
