I've done photography fairly continually since I was 18 in 1998, when I traveled to Australia, my place of birth, alone for the first time. Since 2014 I've done street photography a lot in my hometown of Portland, Oregon. The place has really changed a lot since the pandemic started, I hope my old photos can be of importance in the future. People tell me I am good at capturing the essence of a place, and I model myself after the photojournalistic style, though also like fine art as well. In 2019 I was published in the 66th issue of Inspired Eye magazine. That was my first time having my work shown outside of a school setting, besides on Flickr. In 2007 I graduated from Mt. Hood Community College with a degree in Professional Photography. I haven't gone professional as of yet. I prefer to shoot with film, Nikon cameras mostly that I've inherited from my dad, who shot for Associated Press.
