I've been meaning to sort through some old photographs for some time and have finally got round to making a start. Photography came second to the haulage I'm afraid and more often than not I didn't even take a camera with me. The result will be some gaps in knowledge in terms of numbers, dates and but nevertheless as fellow enthusiasts I hope you enjoy the photos and the memories they muster. The photos stop towards the end of the 80's when I took a job that meant there was no time for railways and I suddenly had to become responsible.

Any help to fill in the gaps would be more than welcome. I should reference a late friend Terry Moors who took a few of the shots I've posted. Terry was a proper photographer and I never did apologise for spoiling some of his best work by hanging like a lunatic out of carriage windows.
