I am Brazilian. Since June 2015 I live in a farm in Minas Gerais with occasional trips to Rio de Janeiro. Before that I lived in Luanda, Angola (2014-15), Lima, Peru (2010-13), Rio de Janeiro and Bogota, Colombia (2006-08). I used to take pictures, especially of my daughters, grand-sons and birds. But never paid much attention to their quality until April 2007 when my wife gave me a SLR camera (Nikon D-40X). Then I decided to learn a bit more about Photography. I started looking more closely at other's people photos in the web and discovered Flickr. It was really fascinating!

And although now it is much harder to be satisfied with my photos, I enjoy a lot watching so many wonderful pictures in Flickr.
