The one thing I like to do is learn, something that was missing in my younger days...

I have so many hobbies I can't possibly be a master of any. I try but often fall short, of talent or the time required. One hobby that spans most of the rest is photography. It is something I have never mastered, nor have I found a camera that can stop my camera shake. I continue to try and sometimes I click at the right time!

A passion of mine is owning my 1970 Morris Minor Traveller, Matilda. I try to use her daily as she is not in showroom condition I get a lot of help from the folks on Morris Minor Owners (MMO) to keep her going.

I have been researching my family tree for ever! I have produced a website about my family during the Great War: The Whistons at War

This research helped me produce a Top Gold winning show garden called Paradox, which is shown under my website about the Memorial to the Missing of the Battle of the Somme

I like to travel and seek out bargain flights whenever I can, funny how so many of the airlines I've flown on over the years have since gone bust...!
