In the 70's I studied art and design in Melbourne Australia.
From the early 80's through to the mid naughties I taught art/history in a photography college.
Since Feb 2006 I have been living in Kavala Greece.
I like to draw,paint,write,take photos and cook....
If you have problems locating me, its probably because I change my screen name almost as frequently as I change my hair colour.
Flickr is my sketch book/visual diary.
It's also an organic living art gallery full of eclectic art, ideas and interesting people..... thanks to those of you who have taken an interest in what i do and thank gourd for flickr.

i am very appreciative of constructive comments but awards and icons don't mean anything to me and they are an eye sore.
If i have to go through an initiation ordeal to join a group then its not worth joining. I also try to avoid groups with copious rules.
oh did i mention grading......i leave that to the wonna be school teachers.

The variety in her work is always refreshing because she has an ever-curious eye. Bringing together her education, talents, sensibility, humor, sense of the profound, irony, she can not only see minimalism, complexity, surrealism, but also create it to fit her purpose.....able to twist the obvious into a new idea, keeping her individual aesthetic true. Take the time to really look at her work and very likely you will be introduced to whole new worlds and ideas. Vices_follies; when I say her name out loud, I hear phrases, like eloquent, visionary, creative and passionate. Don't let all those years of my working with her dissuade you, vices_follies is a passionate creative and eloquent artist, her ability to 'see' continues to this day, and is only out outstripped by her love of food and cooking. Her sense of humour is infectious, her laughter music to your ears and her honesty refreshing. Vices_follies', understanding of light and composition proves that a well rounded training in all the arts is a must have qualification proving that photography and painting are not mutually exclusive. I have learned as much from her as any of the teachers I've been fortunate to work with over the years, and she has been an inspiration to my craft of photography and of teaching.
