I joined flickr in October 2006 and immediately was and still am overwhelmed by all that magnificent and breathtaking images that are on display here. Thanks to flickr and your encouraging comments, I discovered my interest in and love for photography. I started off with a Nikon Coolpix 8700 back in December 2005. Sometimes I also use a Panasonic DMC-FZ50. In November 2009 I bought my first DSLR - a Nikon D60! I have learnt so much from all of you who are part of this wonderful community - thanks!
I still think of myself as a beginner in photography. Your visits, invitations, comments, favs and useful advice are very much welcomed and deeply appreciated. However, please don’t post those big, shiny, flashing, glittering graphics - they will be deleted.
I am trying to keep a close eye on the photostreams of my flickr contacs. To be able to do that, I have to limit the number of contacts to somewhat around 100. I comment on my contact's photos on a regular basis and if you add me as a contact, I expect you to do the same. Please don’t add me if you don’t plan on commenting my work every now and then!
