I'm 60 something, I've been taking photos since I was about 10. For years with film, then digital with a Pentax K10D, now a K1.

Subjects tend to be nearby beaches, the photos being a good excuse for a walk & a swim at any time of year. Pictures tend to be of the beach, stuff washed up on the beach & the old world war two defences on or near the beach. I'm not really a beach geek, honest! When I get more time I go up mountains and photograph those. The trips to the beach had the advantage of being almost as good as a hillwalk, but quicker. Beaches change slightly at every tide.

I'll take pictures of almost anything, but other favourite subjects are mountains, and, a variety of protests, mostly ecological/sustainable transport. I'm part of the team that organises the Edinburgh World Naked Bike ride, and the one that organises "Pedal on Parliament." WNBR is fun, appeals to my sense of the ridiculous, involves dressing up, (Well ok, dressing in very little and painting up.) Also it supports bikes, and my bike is my ride to work and around town. I have a vested interest in not being knocked off it!

I am a Christian, I'm also when appropriate a naturist, at least in part because I think that if God had a problem with nudity, Adam & Eve would have been given Kit, before all that stuff with the apple. :)

I also like cats. My Dad did his national service in the RAF. He used to take me to airshows, so you get a fair number of pictures of planes as well.

PLEASE NOTE:- If you favourite one of my photo's, or make me a contact I am likely to have a look at your photostream & possibly your other contacts, & favourites. If I then find that they consist of little or nothing but pictures of your, or anyone else's penis or vagina, I will block you. Likewise if your photostream consists of a few pictures of no artistic merit of you standing around naked apparently intended for nothing more than to show the world your penis. Likewise if your favourites consist of 100's of pics of naked people almost entirely featuring one gender. Or actual sex. Or fetish stuff! Oh, & if such things are posted as "safe", or anything other than simple nudity is posted as "moderate". I will flag it. Simply because I believe that people should be able to regulate what they wish to see, & posting a close up pic of your erect penis as "safe" amounts to online flashing.

Meanwhile, if you favourite one of my WNBR pics, or whatever, & your pics/favourites are a balanced mix of naturists doing naturist things, or general, mixed pics of stuff like the WNBR, you have absolutely nothing to worry about, & I may add you to my favourites/contacts. Likewise artistic pictures involving nudity, no problem! Also, if it's obvious you posted something & just forgot to flag it "moderate" or whatever, I'll just send you a flikrmail, asking if you really meant it!
