Retired biology professor still trying to figure out his camera. I do not use Facebook or Instagram to drive views on my Flickr page and hope that AI bots will stay away from my content. I certainly do not grant AI systems permission to pirate my work, which is copy-righted.

My current gear includes a mirrorless Canon r5 mii with a 100-500 mm zoom lens. I typically set the sensor size to "crop." I shoot in burst-mode too often for my own good and therefore spend many evenings culling through superfluous files. I have used standard Canon dSLRs in the past, as well as a Fuji mirrorless point-and-shoot.
