Ingrid is one of my most cherished contacts. When I first joined Flickr, I soon found her work and it was a revelation. Her technical control over her photographs is perfect. Her point of focus, depth-of-field, and composition are always superbly judged. Coupled with her skills, her choice of subject is always varied and inevitably has that intangible feeling of magic. Whether it's an abstract view of waves, the brilliant blues of boat hulls, or the exotic eye of a ray, Ingrid's photographs are unmatched. She is a consummate photographer who posts only a relatively few photographs, but each one is a rare vision of superb quality. I know my confidence in posting photographs greatly increased when I received good comments from Ingrid. I was very flattered to receive such nice, insightful comments from somebody whose work I admired so greatly. Time has passed, but to this day there's nobody in Flickr who I admire more as a photographer or as a person. I'm still completely fascinated by her wonderful work and still am flattered to have her for a contact. She's a very special artist, photographer and friend.
