Darren is an extraordinary photographer, and as such he has this amazing capacity to capture to perfection a wide range of subjects. From an architectural shots to landscapes and who knows what more as his genres will diversify. All photographed with the greatest attention to detail, and with much skill and talent. As a person, Darren has a warm sense of humour and equally important, an incredible sense of humility and willingness to learn; and isn't life's journey one big learning experience? I feel though that the great Ansel Adams expressed better than me what I'd like to say about Darren's images: "We don't make a photograph with just a camera. We bring to the act of photography all the books we have read, the movies we have seen, the music we have heard and the people we have loved." Darren, I am so glad you are here, and giving us a chance to share your world through your images.

I have been thinking about writing one of these little treats for Darren for a long while, so here goes. Darren is a lovely soul as a person, and he shows this in his work and the comments he gives. Darren has excelled immensely these past couple of months, both adapting to his environment and most of all delving into his imagination. I always come to look at his stream and an image will have been added, he adds most days, with something completely different from the next. His perspective of the visual world is growing, and I am enjoying been a proud viewer and good friend. I wish him the best and I know, as we all do, he will keep producing some great shots!! usually a surprise subject too. I look forward to being friends for many years and its a joy to have fallen along his life long path.
