To learn more about b&w photography, street photography and Leica photography, visit Hans!! And so I do everyday. Past months have been a wonderful experience to learn everyday from his photographs. They are without a doubt technically correct. He works like a true engineer, spot on with foundations. He is one of the first flickr users I started following since the beginning. He is one of the reasons why I found street photography quite the interesting one and thus I have tried following his footsteps (still trying.. ). While doing so, he has become one of my coolest friends (i believe that's how an ecstatic kid would like to describe new found friendship)!! Keep clicking :-)

Many moons ago, when I viewed Hans’ “Silver Mine” photo with the crystal turquoise waters, I was hooked. I have been coming here ever since and was so glad when he added me as a contact. His obvious talent really speaks for itself and his knowledge of photography never ceases to amaze. Hans can find a masterpiece in a shop window or a gutter as he brings Stockholm to life with his posts. His intellect and humor are an additional bonus as his kindness and gentle spirit make you feel comfortable on his stream. Hans is a good man with a good heart and I doubt I would still be active on flick without him in my life. He helps me believe in myself and if only I had the talent he holds in just one hand. He is a treasured friend indeed. One who holds a very special place in my heart. Luv ya Hans!

It has been a true pleasure to meet Hans here at flickr. Like a fine single malt scotch, his photography is pure, clean, and robust. I have great admiration for his commitment to straight photography, and I am consistently amazed by his remarkable abilities and vision. He is both a skilled technician and an inspired artist. His work is a wonderful reminder of the photographic magic that can be found in such traditions as prime lenses, available light, and a roll of film. I look forward to stopping by and viewing his photographs each day. Hans truly appreciates the importance of friendship and community that make this a special place. And he is very supportive in the comments that he leaves for other's as well. He takes the time to seriously look at photographs, and to leave insightful observations. Hans is a class act. I am proud to call him a friend.

When viewing Han's portfolio I find the same honesty and throughtfulness of expression as I find in his comments on my images, and the images of so many other photographers, whose work he has commented on. Hans walks a line between street, architectural and fine art. An expression of a visually clean and balanced aesthetic. This is a man who reminds me that Prime Lenses and film are king and that I may well be cheating when I forego my collection of prime lenses and instead use my zoom (though each has its place to be sure). I envy his M series Leica kit but not his processing costs. ;-) View his work and then reflect on it; Return and you will always find more meaning than on your previous visit. I always enjoy coming away feeling I've profitted from the time I've spent viewing, thinking about and commenting on his images. and then there are always his chairs..
